Paris FC could benefit from an indemnity of 375,000 euros thanks to the transfer of Nobel Mendy to Hull City. The defender, who played for Paris FC between 2021 and 2023, was formed at FC Mantois. The FIFA solidarity mechanism provides for the distribution of indemnities between the clubs that have participated in the player's formation. Based on an indemnity of 25 million euros, Paris FC could therefore theoretically receive approximately 375,000 euros, or 1.5% of the amount of the operation. The amount finally paid to Paris FC will therefore slightly differ depending on the officially registered and validated periods of formation by the international instance.
Paris FC is currently 11th in Ligue 1 with 44 points, 11 wins, 11 draws, and 12 losses in 34 matches. The club is 32 points behind the leaders Paris Saint-Germain. Paris FC's next match will take place at home against Toulouse on January 16, 2027.
The transfer of Nobel Mendy to Hull City was officially announced on Wednesday and was estimated at 25 million euros by the Spanish media outlet AS. The operation could have financial consequences for the two clubs directly involved.
